Wholeheartedly agree; I might try to find and compile the genga for my own reference, but I can’t hope to recreate an archive built by who knows how many people over the course of years. No hate to the admins, i really appreciate what you guys do and I understand that you were forced to take this stuff down, but it’s still really depressing to see such an extensive database of beautiful work gone

Now that MP100 posts are prohibited, is there somewhere else I could look at it? If someone would be willing to send me crap I'd really appreciate it. Studying the genga/settei stuff along with the production materials has really helped my own work. Seeing how they plan out/capture an authentic portrayal of human motion is awesome.
It's really disappointing that one of the more impressive, original sources of animation today has been totally removed. But I understand why the site had to remove them if DMCA's are involved, that's not on them.
