Still one of my favorite chain animations ever, I like the complex motion of Kurapika's arm and chain and I've always been very interested in those cool super thin sparks. They look like they've been scraped on the cel with a thin point tool, rather than having been painted on it.
I can't find the old post but I think I just said something like Takeuchi is NC Action AD for the film, you won't find his name in the credits (only as genga), but he handled this scene and the following in the garage fight.
