RIP Toriyama, the greatest and most influential manga artist of all time. Even though there were older anime that influenced talented artists and animators of the time, I genuinely believe that without Toriyama's influence, anime, manga, and even the majority of sakuga and more would not be as much of a presence as it is today.

I can't even begin to describe the sheer impact of his work on not just comics or animation, but pop culture as a whole. He inspired and defined an entire generation of artists worldwide. Tezuka may have been the grandfather of manga/anime, but Toriyama was the undisputed king. Another legend has left us too soon.
