super honestly ruined modern dragon ball character design, it added that glossy thing which made everything so much worse character art wise, its really disappointing

Honestly the only episodes I have watched from Super are the ones that are either directed or storyboarded by Yuya Takahashi or Naotoshi Shida since they're the only animators I know that don't make the characters look like action figures. The only other things I have watched from Super are the Broly movie, the sakuga clips on this site, episode 5 clips, and the millions of memes super has spawned.
Completely agree with you, but isn't this a game opening ?

It is the game opening, but it also uses the exact same character designs so it's also appropriate to complain about it hear.

You think Super added that? No. That ugly gloss reared it's head in GT, and in the DIgipaint era (early 2000s video games with animated openings) really started to look gross. It was expicially prevalant during DB Kai's Intros

I do realize that more now, but even in GT the gloss looks alright... something about super (especially its character models which have awful anatomy) just doesn't look that good, its pre-production wasn't that good and I really hope it gets better with the new series they're gonna be making soon
