Anime Golem
over 4 years agoHe's also described the process as follows;
"To give clarity: for both David’s short and mine, we both essentially “keyed” out those cartoons, many of the scenes even broken down with breakdowns/invetweens, albeit in rough form. But it has to be said that he final animation was definitely seen through by the amazing animators at Tonic and Yowza respectively. They followed our poses/timing/direction, but they took what we gave them, and despite some back and forth (as with any production), they plussed it and made them gorgeous.
Putting the characters on model, effects. Flourishes, etc. "
to give context the short in this post is David's.
