0:05 to end looks like Shida's timing.

Man that blurring on the edges looks really bad.

I'm not convinced that is Shida. That isn't his smoke and those effects don't look like his typical output. The timing's a little similar, but I dunno if that's enough.

FWIW, the credits for the OP and ED are bundled together. Not just bundled together in terms of key animators, but literally everyone from animator to director is just under one big list.

Goto and Nagamine are directors, and don't animate to the best of my knowledge, so I would imagine one of them tackled the OP, and one tackled the ED.

Shida's animation is present in the ED very distinctly in both versions, with very little interference from Yamamuro.

So... that literally just leaves Yamamuro unless there's uncredited KA who popped up for these later versions. The smoke reminds me of his work, so I wouldn't be surprised if he just solo'd this stuff himself - https://i.imgur.com/xT5ezEx.jpg
