So I know that Yukiko Horiguchi designed one of the characters in this group, but is KyoAni not affiliated with any of the rest of this project? At the very least, these shorts seem very heavily influenced by their production tendencies.

She's the animation designer for all the characters and the animation director for the shorts. It's animated at A-1 (or Cloverworks) with Wakabayashi directing and Umehara being the animation producer.
