The impression I've gotten based on his history on Super is that he's a fairly slow animator, so he's not the most compatible thing with Super's brutal schedule. I really wanted more sakuga style animation from Karasawa. He did a great job here for reals I just want more from him. Too bad show's just about over.

What if the schedule wasn't so "brutal"? How good do you think he might be?

The explosions look like something out of Gurren Lagann. Very nice. The only criticism of this clip, for me, is Goku's strange head movements at 00:09.

I wonder why they decided to not blur out the smoke this time, other than it looking fantastic.

Just imagine his "Yoshinari" looking beam effects on the new Dragon Ball movie!

You could have left in a bit of the looped fighting animation. It feels awkward without it. Not to mention it had some beautiful art.

Beautiful smoke. Karasawa's best work in the series for me.

The upload tho. Looks so awkward with some scenes edited out.

the aura surrounding goku is so ugly tbh, hope it will disappear for episode 130

No. Go and rewatch the scene. The hand-to-hand stuff happens after the explosion.
