If only Gintama from BNP had this animation choreography in Rakuyo and Silver soul

Call as "Gintama from BNP" don't make sense tho. All Gintama is by the same studio/team.
I thought that seasons 1 (2006) and 2 (2011) were made by Sunrise and from gintama 2015 onwards it is made by Bandai Namco Pictures
different studio =/= different team

like how Guilty Crown and Titans season 1 have the same staff but the former was I.G. and the later was WIT

in this case though BNP didn't even change buildings, just a re-naming
Uhmm. Ok, But admit that earlier Gintama was more 'smooth' and consistent. They were even making jokes about their budget issues at the end

S1 and S4 (Gintama°) are the best on animation.
S2 and S3 had some strong moments, but are static at generally. Good art but doesn't move that much.
S5 to S8 lost a lot of action animators and also are the most ambitious seasons (not so much Porori-hen).

If you say Gintama' and Enchousen are that good just bc art, I agree. But Gintama. (Rakuyou) moves a lot more even with less polishiment
In Rakuyo, I hated Kamui vs Umibouzu. It should've looked like Katsura vs Shoukaku or even better, because of good plot behind it, but we got inconsistent meh looking fight instead. As for animators, i really loved Yoko Sato and Tadashii Oppata, but after s2, they hardly ever worked on Gintama

nani? post #136086 looks so good. Nothing meh on this.

Sato and Oppata started to work more as character designs and supporting each other (they are married). I'm happy to see they growing as animators. Always an animator say goodbye, a new good come. S3-final has Sasaki , Honjo, Hoori, Kikuchi, Komuro and some freelancers.

Anyway, I don't think this post is the best place to talk about this.
why is the background is moving so fast while the character isn't?
also , the background movement repeats 3 - 5 times and i have to say, that kinda affects the experience in a bad way but the coregraphy of actual animation is awesome
It's to give the illusion that the camera is whirling around the characters in the middle amidst the army of swordsmen. It's a perfectly normal trick that's been done in a million different shows.

Maybe because the camera isn't framed from the perspective of the character?
