Animation wise this was very good. I just hope the Blu-ray release can fix up Piccolo's face. Not a Tate hater or anything and I'm not starting anything. I like Tate's fluid style it's just the characters' faces that need work.

I like the Piccolo face here. It's ugly but in an... interesting??? way. Reminds me of his approach during these types of episodes: post #37948

I think it's just nicely detailed. I'm not a fan of Tate's bouncy animation, but I do like the faces he draws. I like how they almost ignore Yamamuro's ugly designs and are portrayed as a direct reinterpretation of Toriyama's art.
