this just makes me wish the phantom blood movie was released outside of theaters. it was critically panned by everyone (including/especially araki himself), but i like the aesthetic of junichi hayama and i'm morbidly curious about all of the changes they made in general.

I presume this is Umakoshi: timing, shading, linework and effects look like his. Especially how neck and clothes look at around 0:18.

There is zero source for Araki hating the movie, and the only reviews we have are from random Japanese bloggers
