Didn't Imaishi just storyboard this?

Yep.
Is this from the OP for the newly greenlit series that was announced yesterday? Or is this from the webseries or some older content?

EDIT: Just did some research and that appears to be the case.
nice animation, but the character designs are unappealing and the composition is terrible.

That's what happens when you give the animation to the company that spends half their time animating Family Guy.

This makes it sound like you think Family Guy has good animation, but I'm assuming you're talking about the design and composition, right? If so, then both of those things weren't handled by anyone who works for Family Guy.

Korean animations studios almost never have any creative freedom, so I fail to see how that makes any sense.

Wasn't saying it as a positive.

Also, I was talking about the studio itself (Digital eMation, who did the intro). Not Imaishi.

What are you even saying anymore? Your original comment makes fun of Digital eMation's animation despite ihhh's comment talking about how it's the design and composition that's bad. Now, when ihhh explained that the studio doesn't have much say in how the animation turns out, you act like you knew this from the beginning? This is just some weird backtracking, isn't it?

The fuck? I was just clarifying what I meant when I said my first comment.

The reasoning you guys bring up can easilly be applied to literally any subcontracting studio Korean or otherwise.

Man, I just cannot keep my mouth shut, can I?

Okay, just reply with a blunt sentence saying what you meant to say. I've reread your comments and I'm still unclear with your logic. Were you trying to say the animation was bad despite replying to ihhh's comment about how the animation is good? I assumed you were talking about the bad design and composition and accidentally said "animation," so I tried to explain that the studio isn't responsible for that stuff.
The first 5 cuts were decent, but those last cuts I couldn't even tell what the fuck was happening because of the terrible compositing and snappy movement.
I thought Studio Trigger animated this intro.
