It's not the video that is broken. This happens to me, and probably a lot of other users, at times as well. It's more likely an issue with server space, or something. Come back to it later and it might work. Another way to test is to download the clip and see if it plays locally. 100% of the time it does, for me.

When did this start happening? I wonder if its a Cloudflare thing.

Unfortunately this isn't a foolproof way to see if it's a "server issue," as there are some video files which will play fine offline but not in-browser (like 4:4:4 video).

In addition, it's hard for me to understand how something could be a server issue when you can download the file at all, since the download and embed come from the same place.
@aers voting and quoting seem to not work at the moment as well. :(
It started for me about a month ago, I would guess. I posted a comment about it the first time it happened, so I might just track back to see if I can find that. It happens about once or a week, usually for a whole series of uploads. The first Air(TV) uploads not too long ago were the first to cause the problem for me, also had the issue with some of the latest IBO uploads, and a few other various things in-between.
EDIT: Found the first upload that did this to me and it is still broken. ID26667

That Air video is broken for me in Chrome but not Firefox; looking at mediainfo it seems to be VFR and has weird metadata. That's an error on the uploader's side. Chrome is far more strict about what it will play back than Firefox, I guess. This is actually an issue since like ~75% of our traffic uses Chrome. I'll look into enforcing whatever standards Chrome requires as a check when uploading videos.

As for this video it seems to play fine for me in Chrome. I'll try and track down the cause of your issues when I have more time (I'm not at home and wont be for a few weeks unfortunately)

As mentioned elsewhere the voting etc issues were something different and are fixed now, sorry!
