As he said first cut by Matsumoto (Hashirama/Madara fighting). others by Kobayashi

1st & 4th cut: Norio Matsumoto
2nd, 3rd, & 5th cut: Naoki Kobayashi

I think Matsumoto only did the first cut, the rest is quite clearly Kobayashi. Is there some official confirmation somewhere?

Kobayashi confirmed the Madara dance in his French interview. Never been sure that the susano'o + kyuubi scene was him.

Pay more attention to the timing in the 4th cut; more likely to be of Matsumoto than Kobayashi.

It's confirmed that Kobayashi did the 4th cut. He considers this scene as the most difficult he did with the one in The Last. He drew more than 200 frames.

That cut is honestly nuts, on fact, all the opening is nuts, for me, is Gorou Sessha's magnum opus, like, holy shit, everything is just ridiculously good and Kobayashi pulled out the most difficult cut of the sequence almost perfectly!

I wasn't asking about that cut, I was asking about the one after, where Kyuubi and Susano'o chase after Obito, which was most likely animated by Matsumoto.

reasoning is the 2nd genga down from the top left is from Kobayashi's Sasuke/Madara chase, and directly to its right is Sasuke riding Naruto but it's done digitally and completely different from Kobayashi's. So it's someone else entirely and they also draw digitally - the only one credited on this OP that definitely draws digitally is Kawano (maybe Toshiro Fujii?) but it's not enough to guess just off that - NC animators could also be present. Either way art_unknown added
