ooooohhhhhhhhhhhh ;_;, tate's facial expressions are soo good ;_;
The whole first half of #26 feels like Tate's baby. Pretty sure he soloed it himself. It's lovely.

Though of course the vast majority of DB fans seem more concerned about how it doesn't adhere to Yamamuro's character designs... as if that's a bad thing.
I love the way that the limbs become so lose.
I seriously don't understand people's problem with this, there's like 2 iffy drawings that you actually notice and everything else is great, is perfect on model really that important to DB fans?
the faces are abnormal in the series design context, it has much higher level of exaggeration so it’s actually normal for people to not swallow it
While dragon ball fans were crying for scenes like this one, as a One Piece fan, I would like Tate to return to the series
I see a lot of indented cheek shading.
Could it be that Tate just supervised it?
Nah, it's textbook Tate and he was top KA. The stuff he supervised moves super weird in comparison.
While this cut looks nice, am I the only one who finds the blurring of the punches really distracting? I get that Toei was still trying to be ufotable around this time, but even when ufotable goes overboard with there compositing the animation can still look great.
