Genuinely unbelievable. Absolute god.
I swear I wasn't expecting this... It may be on top 5 one piece cuts, movies included. For me, Yen BM is already one of the best in the world
superb
his best work

truly the power of animation,wow
Yen just dropped one of the best animated scenes in one piece ever, just unbealivible
ANIMATION POWER!!!!!!!! BEST YEN WORK EVER!! THE SB, SENSE OF SCALE AND CRAZY ANIMATION... PEAK PEAK PEAK PEAK PEAK PEAK
Yen's best work. No contest.
Personally think this is his best work so far. Glad this project push him to his full potential in every participation (work for others too actually)
this is outrageous !! Holy shit
yen surpassed himself
Shigetsugu nigen for beam, Ihabo and juny nigen help on "aftermath and King's slowmotion", and ofc ishizuka + matsuda corrections

Should honehone (sota shigetsugu) tag be added? Apparently he added alot for the part he did for 2gen
how can something be better than this? other than fate ofc
Outstanding work by Yen, Vincent, and everyone else who worked on this episode. Just when I think that this series can't surpass itself I'm always wrong. What a time to be a OP fan

The style of effects is totally different from the way Kanada and his followers draw energy dragons like this. It's the same thing with yutapon cubes.

Cube debris =/= Yutapon cubes
Energy dragon =/= Kanada dragon
Anyone know the name of the effect where objects converge to the vanishing point due to speed like at 0:24 ?
godlike, absolutely in all of it's essence ABSOLUTELY GODLIKE

I'm not sure I've ever seen that done in animation before, so I'm doubtful it has a name. Maybe some long-time sakuga fan will correct me though.

Closest thing to it I can think of is post 146023
How did he do the compositing
Chris is a super talented animator,
But this impact frames are my original (I did a second key animation of this cut)
impact frames at 0:08 are Sōta Shigetsugu's (the tweet he was replying to has since been deleted) https://twitter.com/Hone_honeHONE/status/1714790610484539724
the smears are insane

'dolly zoom' effect aka 'vertigo effect' is the closest to it
