Agreed, first thing I thought when I saw this scene was how much it looked like raw Hakuyu Go

I commented that originally since Go has practically never done anything like the middle before, but I suppose it could be trying something new or just general directorial influence from zhang (or me being bad lol). The background effects shape and first and last few drawings are textbook Go tho I agree

running part reminds me of zhang animation too

Honestly my guess is that the line art of kiriko is GO and weilin did his own cut on top of it, then layered them for a more creative feel. But the parts that aren't running are all GO.
