what indicates its rotoscoped other than the animators themselves confirming in these situations?
because in this case i couldn't differentiate most of these from normal 2d animation of highly skilled animators

full-rotoscoped animation always have some uncanny feeling, the less it follows original forms, the more pleasant it looks, as for me. and sometimes it's hard to define what is just highly referenced (of real footage, etc) and what is rotoscoped. correct me, if anything

you can full-rotoscope something and then selectively remove and clean frames so that it looks more natural to anime. The majority of one-off cases of rotoscope in anime are like that (including here imo).
And sometimes it looks like it's been rotoscoped and cleaned, but it's just done with reference film (not directly traced from the film) after all. Definitely hard to tell just by eye sometimes.

Even so, I think there are some subtle differences between the two, so I'm a little confused about the tag of the rotoscope here.

I will remove it since it seems to bother a lot of people for some reason.

it's maybe the most controversial tag here. hilarious
don't know about the technical stuff but it felt authentic
so good

I have this obsession too,I love the output to be the result of the animator's observations, experience and studying expressed in his stylistic quirks
and that's what actually made the art of sakuga

but honestly recently, they have been so good at this ,that after kaguya-sama popular ED dance and other recent examples (JJK ED)
I became reluctant to call it rotoscope ,maybe the rotoscope is a step but no,those recent example have the power of animation (like this scene here)
I like it especially when it comes to dancing, maybe because it's also an art of movement (dancing appreciation is one of my other hoppies)
I think it filled in a certain gape while animating dancing (that many animators couldn't achieve )
so I support it especially when it comes to dancing, but overall this technique has been so refined that I enjoy it wholeheartedly

sorry for the poor english but I hope I was able to explain myself
