Yutaka on his way to have another 1000 scene.
personally enjoyed the 5 second on buddy daddies much more , weakest yutapon work on mha
2 great cuts in the middle at least. waiting for the bd begiins...
Those effects are gonna look amazing in the BD release.
I like the animation of Nagant's hair in the last cut too

Man so good at art his only competition is himself

Personally adored this cut, can not get over cube-man's use of lighting and colour. The perfect-circles for fa-jin also a really cool artistic choice, that shot at 0:36 being really memorable
hes really experimenting with this "multiple" thing hes been doing in MHA recently
0:02 was a weird cut, kinda felt like they had to edit out Fa Jin popping out
Always nice to see nakamura in mha
This ghosting is killing me on the inside in every possible and impossible way. So much time occupied by still-frames, feels like rushed Yutapon. Now eternal wait for BD version with no ghosting.
It's so weird seeing Yutapon do a conservative scene.
It's damn good tho
Bruhh nooo, the still frame is kinda ruining it lol, it was the same issue for the ida cut just before too. Probably due to the short schedule its sad😢

most of MHA's action (there's 134 episodes worth of examples) is boarded with stills and flashbacks inbetween the moving parts, has nothing to do with the schedule

Nakamura usually changes the board to do his own thing which is why historically, he's avoid this but here it just seems like his part starts earlier than it normally would.

The ghosting and dimming is so bad, bones has some of the best animators with some of the middest compositing

ghosting and dimming is issued by the station its being broadcast on. has literally nothing to do with compositing, which is generally excellent

I think they are talking about stuff like the second last cut, the kick itself, and the more limited approach in general by Nakamura standards. Comparing this to something like the bakugo escape scene from season 3, where the last cut had character acting and a ridiculous level of hair movement, here in the second last cut deku isn't moving at all besides the flapping mouth. This definitely looks like rushed Nakamura; I don't think Yutapon would usually animate something like the 3rd cut (0:23).

In what sense is this a conservative scene?
Not one of his best scenes but still super cool. Hope this means we'll be getting 1 or 2 more from him this season.

While the scene isn't as extravagantly animated as his usual output, those cuts you mentioned arent static. The original comment also mentioned Iida's scene prior so I think the only correct interpretation of their wording is that they're talking about the literal stills.

Either way, its a silly comment that will be wiped along with the rest of them when the BD drops in 6 months
0:28 Dimming aside, gah damn that looks cool.
amazing as always, never disappoints
Why on earth do they do that frame blending thing? Is it an epilepsy thing?

broadcast network regulations, been in place ever since that one Pokemon episode caused a ton of kids to have seizures

don't worry about it, it'll be gone once the Blu-ray comes out in a few months
Could be great if the stills were just an animated Deku, I hate that duplaction of stills to evoce speed... Especially when he uses again that "rainbow sutff". And the hit is really not great, it look like Deku's missed her. Too bad, the start of this sequence was really cool, love that closeup on the red guy.

Great spectacle overall but not very readable.
In a perfect world BNHA would be solely animated by Nakamura.
the static dekus were one of my favourite things about this cut tbh

i agree, his new deku cuts are a bit weird, its obvious that hes experimenting new techniques but tbf his old works on mha just look 10 times better both in quality and aestethic. It looked more complete
i wonder if the genga is different from this since it looks rushed and bones had to just scrap sum stuff like vincent chansard's work
doesn't look rushed at all for me,art is pretty strong
aslo call me mad man cut at 00:23 isn't yutaka
The ghosting and dimming makes me want to vomit. Praying they fix it for digi release
While not exactly bad, this is a pretty weak yutapon cut. Boring still duplication, that weird rainbow effect that he keeps using for deku is at it's worst here, and when there's actual animation on screen, half of it is dimmed which really brings it down. Overall just a weirdly choreographed animation.
Can we get a blu-ray re-upload?
