Nakatani, among others, drew their water and bread on the Brave anime shows back in the 90s. Nakatani attributes Hirotoshi Takaya as one of his masters(shishou), tied back to the time they all worked on these Brave shows.

There was a slight dip in quality with the conversion, but it's hardly noticeable if you aren't comparing it directly to the BDs.

I looked at the animator's Twitter account. Seeing that he bought Soul of Chogokin Gaogaigar and is having fun with it is pretty endearing!
