is the video being 30fps a problem?

I don't think it is since it's the only source, and converting it to 24 fps would cause more problems than anything
Well, now i understand why it was censored
this is so good, such a shame it was changed
why they changed this :(
because it's not up to par with the show's standards on a technical level. Every drawing is a key frame which is already asking too much, but then each one is off model on top of that.
ian your genga caca
this joke btw
yeah, it would have been quite the effort to correct all the drawings so it's understandable. congrats on the debut

I believe it's more of a censorship thing considering the time slot, gore + lighting

but as for it being off model,I think it can pass especially when it's always moving
and the series got more off model static art
but that's just me

however if the AD judged so ,so yeah,it will require alot of time to correct it
if any non-animation privy MHA fans find and are reading this, the above comment is entirely incorrect.
There's no censorship, the layout is unusable in its current state.

Also the fact that it's always moving is the reason it was re-done, there are too many key frames to correct.
yeah,you're right about the layout

that's why I said,that it's just me,personally I think the shigaraki part looks nice as it's

however I think the electrifying torture is a little too much for the morning time slot which is always having censorship and more strict rules

other than that, you will actually find me agreeing that it requires great effort to correct but as usual jumping the gun
I meant to show it in such a graphical way obviously

edit:damn it,hourly limit,needs to delete comments

anyway, great cut from ian, that we all wish could have been shown in all of its glory
For the first time I don't know what was worse... totally static or with shrill movements. This has a lot of unnecessary movements, there seems to be no dialogue at all between those who formulated it and made it happen, complete disaster.
I'd love a little weight to it too but the over exaggerated movement is another way of expression, that I actually find nice here, gives off a sense of creepiness that suits the situation
atleast much more than the static one from the episode

Good idea (and obvious) but badly executed, one of the reasons for not going to the final product.

While everything the user said, about the animation and movem, nt is entirely incorrect and the layout is basicaly unusable, the slot thing definitely played a part into it too.

I don' t get what "lighting" (?) has to do with the cut above like the guy was saying, but toning down gore is basicaly what every show airing on NHK does.

NHK is the same channel that has that bullshit "no double credits" thing in the show they air lmao.

1. MHA doesn't air on NHK
2. bullshit credit rule has nothing to do with censorship
3. watch Fumetsu no Anata e for that sweet NHK gore :ok_hand:

1. You' re actually right lmao. I didn' t check out more because 2 (reputable) big news outlets listed MHA on NHK at the 17:30. But I checked out the YT trailers of Toho Animation and seen that it actually airs on Nippon ahah. My bad!

But I mean, while Nippon is not as bad as NHK, they still have their fair share of dumb self-censorship things. HxH 2011 still got the "Killoua ripping the hearth off" completely censored while it was airing in Nippon.

2. I was using the censorship bullshit as an "another reason" for all of the bullshit that NHK has. My bad if it wasn' t clear!

3. Fumetsu has a fair bit of gore, but it airs in the midnight slot of NHK. Different things, IMO. But I mean, not like it matters, seeing how I was wrong about NHK in the first place lmao.

-I think the """""censorship"""" thing is still valid ( and I say censorship not in the "dumb Twitter rage thing", but as something that simply happens at most productions), and that was just another "layer" of why the cut was changed so much.

Sorry if I didn' t make myself clear, and I hope I didn' t came off as rude or miss-informed. Thanks for the correction and take care!
