Honestly couldn't tell Eren's titan was cg here at first. Really solid work.
Same, only noticed on my second watch. And god, I definitely had to watch this episode twice.
Really miss Wit's lightning effects for the transformations

especially when you deal with CG, meaning you can't have smears
I've seen smears on CG before https://www.sakugabooru.com/post/show/109107
Hmmmm... The lightning animation, it ain't Kutsuna, and it is very short, but something about it is pretty satisfying.

Tho this is making me itch for a sakuga heavy episode... Maybe next one, considering the content that will be adapted.
My only real complaint about this scene is that the cloud of smoke at 0:10 completely obscures the action for a little bit. If it was made not completely solid and the arm was visible through the smoke, that would be far more readable in my opinion.

Well, I mean everything is possible if the footage is edited later but you don't have smears in a CG model by default like you could with traditional animation.
So? They're still smears on CG.

I said you can't have smears by default unless you edit the footage later which takes more time
That's not what you said initially. You only said after I showed you can have them on cg.

Bro I have no clue, I just guessed about the reason they used motion blur was that they specifically can't use smears on Cg ,its not that deep.

You really want to argue with someone that badly?
No he is right, his plan was not to argue with you, he was just correcting you. You are just changing the topic after being proven wrong. Your orginal statement was that "You can't have smears on CG" you didn't say "You can't have smears on CG without editing the footage after". How was he supposed to know what you think if that's not what you wrote.

agreed, on my first watch I couldn't really tell what happened
I wonder if I did not notice due to hype, but on my first watch I did not.

So true. If they did do this, I would've noticed he went and grabbed Willy off the stage. I didn't know this after my rewatch.
