We get Ishizuka genga and sakuga on the same day? And it's Halloween? Blessed
Ishizuka deserves more recognition in the mainstream anime community man... He's second to none when it comes to the modern animation meta. Kawamatsu's sprint was Godlike.
Kappazuka finally! He doesn't try to hide his Nakamura inspiration at all but at the same time they are enough diferences to tell that is really far from being a copy and that has his own unique flavour and recognizible style aswell.
What impresses me so much is how his animation looks like it was done digitally, in Flash or TVPaint or something but it's still pencil and paper.

is that confirmed? I would have imagined he does L/O digitally from the way it moves.

He was asked if he animates on paper recently and he replied saying he does but that he was thinking of trying digital. In terms of layout, he seems to still be doing it the old-school way as it seems to be used as a placeholder for the BG art in his genga upload for #934.
Nice, that's good to know ty.
