26 years as a professional animator would do it.
26 years isn't necessary. Quality training is.

No, quality training alone isn't enough when you have schedules and budgets constrains. Experience is important and that's the reason why Cal Arts people can't animate an action show on their own.

Ask Le Sean Thomas on twitter.
Cooperation with other animators, more like. Nakamura was always good, but no doubt this just came from enjoying animation and working with others. One of the perks of a traditional animation studio is that ou're constantly surrounded by people drawing and swapping papers. Any studio animator whose observant enough can get this good. Of course, over time.

So...surround yourself with people who do animation and you'll be just as amazing as Nakamura? Is that what your saying?
I noticed some similarities between this and the Cowboy Bebop fight. Has Yutaka Nakamura talked about referencing a certain type of martial arts or this a style all his own?

He was told to mimic Bruce Lee's fighting style (Jeet Kune Do) on Bebop

You mean Spike vs. Vincent Volaju in the movie?! I was thinking the same in the back of my head during the 011 combo!

It's the first Towa no Quon movie. The source is the first piece of white text under "Statistics"
