I hope to god they brought Yutapon back on for more than one shot for the next EP.

I'm think some of his work is in the NEP so I think that they will.
Yeah, just looked back at it, and there are two cuts that look like they could be his work, though I think one of them is Fujimoto. I'm excited as hell for this.
I will never get those random yutaka assignment
I think you’re being overcritical. It certainly wasn’t the best, but it was still a nice few cuts. I think you gotta lower your expectations a little :)

yeah probably true. dont wanna come off as salty, im just comparing it to the highlights of past seasons, these are by no means terrible cuts or something
They were saving the efforts of the animators for the next episode. It's gonna be wild, I promise you.

Everyone thinks just because "omg cubes" it means Nakamura has touched it. There is no way this is a Nakamura NC, but who am I to judge.

Mehdi said Nakamura corrected him, hence the tag. No one is randomly guessing.

I don't like this explanation, reason, excuse or whatever one would like to call it. That shouldn't be the case with MHA's schedule and staff. I feel like it's the show's adaptation philosophy, sticking 100% close to the manga and as result of that it affects some scenes, since supervisors have to heavily correct animators. Tfw we still don't know what Gem of all animators did.

Problem is that they stick to the manga except during action scenes. I mean just compare this https://i.imgur.com/hnXw9Ne.mp4 to the manga version https://i.imgur.com/x0REmn7.jpg

I don't know what happened but I lean more towards them just being lazy than they being understaffed or lack time.
I was just saying the problem with BNHA is the lack of ambition,it's a very good adaptation
but there is no passion in the openings or the episodes itself
they get the episodes professionally done ,you can't fault them but they arent trying to make something special

BNHA schedule is very good so they can do much better

I feel the opposite, the action is copied from the manga more often than not.

I wish the animators were given more liberity. However there's always an exception to the rule. *cough* Nakamura

Saying they're just being lazy is disrespectful though, despite your and my issues with the adaptation the staff is very hard working.

Lazy ?? that's one big of an assumption there. Many thing can impact a production, just because it isn't as well animated as you expected it to be don't mean it's lazy. For example the movie could probably have took many talent and ressources of the studio. Leading it to make some episodes not as well animated as you wanted it to be. Saying it's lazy is just plainly disrespectful especially for the condition they work in. Yes Bones have good schedule, but that do not mean animator don't work their ass off...
This reminds me so much of Shida's Goku vs Freezer cut. It has some nice art and effects work, but it's super limited.
A super limited cut, the storyboard didn't help either with making it less jarring... I'm not keeping up with MHA's production cycle, but it seems they are really struggling this season with the schedule, I hope it is not too troublesome.

the schedule is good actually but they're doing their best and that's what is matter
Why is Nakamura not credited as doing key animation, but instead as an AD? In the tweet that AGreenJumper linked and here https://twitter.com/ShinEvangelion_/status/1213295505985306624 Ken Arto quite clearly states that it's Nakamura's key animation here.

he did only the rough layout for the debris cut, https://twitter.com/KenArto/status/1213484576758042624?s=20

imo it's not significant enough to tag, since the end result doesn't closely resemble his work and that should be the goal of the tags, but in the most technical sense I suppose it could be. He's tagged on the Star Driver cut that he did a 10 minute layout for so I guess this could count too.

it's more a flaw of the tagging system than anything bc it doesn't differentiate between layout or genga, just a yellow tag with his name, and most people don't understand the difference to begin with so it's kinda problematic
