This is believed to be Yuusuke Matsuo's work but I can't find any confirmation.

Not Matsuo, this's done by Imaishi. I checked this genga in his doujinshi "今石洋之原画集第十一号".
If you have sakuga eyes, you may realize that this looks like his another cut in "Evangelion: 2.22". Sadly, now I just confirmed that sakugabooru doesn't have that cut (´ー｀;)

That MAD including the last two or three cuts says they're done by Matsuo, and maybe right about them but I'm not sure. I meant Imaishi did paper effects on this.
