Scrubbing frame by frame for mp4 videos on chrome
As title says - I know there's gifscrubber app for chrome you can scrub frame by frame, but is there something like that for the mp4 ones?
why the heck would you use Blender or After Effects just to frame-step a video? Just use a video player. Any video player. They all have frame step controls.

But in-browser frame stepping would be convenient. I'm hoping that someday the site will get improvements for video playback, and this is second on my list after correct dimensions for the video element.

There's this: http://vidstep.com/
So far it barely works. It steps forward 1/30th of a second, which means it will fail to step once every few frames with a 24fps video. And it doesn't work with WebM, or anything besides H264 MP4. Plus it's super slow and the controls are buggy. But it might be useful for booru eventually.
Keyframe MP is an animation video player used by the industry. The free version lets you do frame by frame.
