Not sure if this is just Yam's AD tricking me but this looks like his own KA at various points.

Maybe Kenichi Tsuchiya?
Hina chin and the shape of her face looks like the type of face that Tsuchiya usually draws (https://www.sakugabooru.com/post/show/122700 )
And the timming is like someone from Answer Studio...

Where the scene is cut absolutely does not do it justice. The whole sequence is built over a fondation of solidly drawn cuts, with smart variations on top to tighten up the rythm. I love how elegent it feels.

probably animated by masashi ishihama.

adding artist unknown bc I dont think he would draw fire like that, also its unlikely he did full LO + genga for any of the cuts but as episode director + animation director he surely had some kind of hand here

First, the Kanada style of movement! The weight from the center of gravity from how he touches down when jumping, the sheer dynamism! This opening, animated by none of the Kanada Yoshinori! Consider the way how the cyborgs’ powers are displayed in sequence… Here, where 006 emits fire from within his body… The fire’s not coming out of his mouth, but rather, it sprays out slightly away… The old anime couldn’t show this kind of detail! It shows how he’s only emitting gas from his mouth, and it turns into fire once it’s out in the air! The consistent logic! The sci-fi reasoning! And then 005, wielder of remarkable super-strength… In both the old anime and manga, he would heft boulders effortlessly, but here, it’s drawn to show him struggling with its weight! Such an inspired, unexpected choice! But despite this amazing demonstration of their abilities, when it comes to 003, Francoise… They don’t pay any mind to the fact that her ears and eyes are super sensitive, but rather, simply have her blink… The only girl in the cast is cute! The wisdom needed to realize that would be far more impressive than any display of radar-senses! It’s perfect! Perfect in every detail!
thank you for keeping my comment lol

Why doesn't this scene have the Yutapon Cubes tag?

i believe its because they are not nakamura inspired
Correct. Cubic debris =/= Yutapon cubes. The latter splits and disperses in a very specific way.
Who made the 3d background?
Was going down the Fairy Tail memory lane and remembered that the guy who did like 70% of all the sakuga in the series was a Shida fanboy. And now I am happy that he got to work with his icon. Oh yeah also this entry slaps harder than Mr. Popo in TFS.
Idk if it’s because this cut has like a different style of art and animation than the rest of the movie, or if it’s because I’m still remembering onishi’s godlike cut, but I’m just not a fan Shida’s work here.
